People always make a bad situation worse in ways by blaming thenselves. When things do not turn out as we would like them to, It is very tempting to that had we done things differently, the story world have had a happier ending.

The topic is " God Leaves Us Room To Be Human "

The writer had told a thing that is interesting. He said that human beings live in world of good and bad, and that makes our lives painful and complicated. Animals don't; their lives are much simpler, without the moral problems and moral decisions that we humans have to face.

However, the "good" and "bad" , we can use it to animals, but not really exist for.

I also agree to the writer. I had studied the Chinese Cultures, which includes Chinese Humanism. I have learnt the differences between humans and animals. Humans has the the cardinal virtues --- humanity, justice, propriety, and wisdom. These is developed by the heart of sympathy, sense of shame, polite of decline, and intellect of right and wrong, which is the begin of moral, which is inherent just like our four limbs. Human must be conscious to what the difference between to animals. So humans will pursue the four cardinal virtues. If we do somethings not moral, it is equal to animals.

The writer had said that:
Our moral freedom means that, if we choose to be selfish or dishonest, we can be selfish and dishonest, and God will not stop us.
If we want to do something that dose not belong to us, God will not reach down and pull our hand away from the cookie jar.
If we want to hurt someone, God will not intervene to keep us from doing it.
God has already let Man evolue morally free, and there is no turning back the evolutionary clock.

I know that we should control ourself to behave. When we have difficult moment, we can pray, and God will help us.

I looked the topic " No Exceptions For Nice People". I begin to understand what the writer wanted to tell people. Sometimes, we cannot think that bad things is a punishment. These bad things has no conscience. Law of the nature do not make any exception to nice people. So that good people get sick and get hurt as much as anyone. The writer has asked a question: If God was designing a world for our maximum benfit, why do we feel pain?
It tells us that if we could not feel pain, we would never know to protect our body. It is because we would cut ourself, burnt ourself, and made our bones broken. Then we would never know that these things is wrong.
After reading this topic, I have learnt a thing. Died is not a thing we should scared. If human could lived forever and never died, the world would become crowded and crowded, and no more babies would be born. If somethings happen to us, we should forget that is a bad things, although it is a very bad things or not. The first thing we must do is ask ourself that what do we do now. Therefore, we will not be disconsolate a lot.
This book makes me think a lot things, help me solve some of the questions which have been in my heart for a long time.

It is the things that I always want to know, why bad things happen to good people. In this book, the writer's son had a serious illness-progeria. His son would never grow much than three feet height, and would have no hair on his head and body, like a old man while he still was a child. His son died after the forthteen birthday. It was the reason that the writer wrote this book.
When a child get sick or serious illness, it is always that the parents sffuer pain. Although parents are good people, and never object to God, the bad things would still happen to their child. Sometimes, I also think that it is unfair. Why this kind of bad things should not happen to bad people? Why do not punish them? This book is not answer these, but it is make people do not think sad. In this book, it is not all the topics are interesting, some topics are boring, because those topic have somethings about the religion.
